Diamond Name

Diamond Life's founder Elmas Vincent knew he had an unusual name, but did not know if it meant anything. He was named after his father and always went by his middle name Elmas. Coming along late in his parent's life, his grandmother could not remember how they came up with the name. He spent the first 38 years of his life believing he just had a unique name.

While attending a conference in Baltimore, a waiter approached him at a restaurant and motioned to the name sticker Elmas was wearing. The waiter asked why he was wearing that word on his shirt. Elmas explained that was his name and the waiter insisted it was not a name, but an item. It was the Turkish word for Diamond.

Not believing in coincidence, Elmas realized the significance not only of his name, but also in not knowing it's true meaning for so much of his life. He had truly been a diamond in the rough, waiting to be revealed. This knowledge came at a point when he was going through dramatic transitions in his life and his life's focus. Diamond has come to represent not only Elmas, but all of the endeavors he undertakes to help others reveal the brilliance and greatness inherently buried inside each of us. It is his life's and DLC's mission to help as many people as possible to realize their own greatness through coaching and seminars.
